Ohio UFO Reports

During the eclipse we saw something moving and even video tape some of the event but didn't get good footage just sound and moving around with the camera it was so horrible that we missed it. But it was moving faster than anything we've ever seen higher than anything we've ever seen and quieter no sonic booms and should have been a couple at least. View Report

Approximately 12:50 am, January 3, 2024 over Sullivant ave going towards Georgesville rd in Columbus Ohio: there were sounds of a large helicopter that I was looking for, and could not find from the direction the sound was coming from. Only to see it (the helicopter) DIRECTLY in front of us, I look to my left to see quite a large ball of orang/red light (like a soft color warm light) that is definitely much larger than a spotlight in a air craft. It had a tail from movement of the same color light and was rapidly moving at 50-60degree angle downwards. It became in my rear view at this point which I as the passenger was interested and instead of it continuing it's trajectory towards the ground it stoped for a moment (I could see it in the reflection of passenger mirror above the street between buildings) then quickly changed course almost as soon as I saw it with my eyes and appeared to "duck" behind the buildings it was in relative location to.... horizontally. After that I didn't see it again but if anyone saw it I would like to see what you're thinking or know it was. It sounded like multiple helicopters were in the area also in relative location to said object. ( I think i have an idea of what this may be) but it definitely was not a helicopter or falling asteroid as it didn't not immediately make impact and shifted from a downward slanted trajectory to an horizontal one after making a momentary pause mid air. I first saw object at what I think as less than 5 miles from the surface of the Earth. Both visually confirmed helicopter and ball of light appeared to be at the same height as far as distance from the surface I am unsure exactly, but quite low but not low enough...I was mesmerized instantly as my previous need to visually identify the sound was met with a sight that was not quite what I had anticipated to see after the echo of the helicopter invaded my ear drums to the point they are itchy and hurt from the wave. as my need to locate the source of the sound which i still do not believe was coming from the one helicopter that I was able to locate visually. Time is 1:24 am and I will be ready for information on your experience or thoughts!! But my insides just want to see it again it made me feel fuzzy warm inside. View Report

Pt 2: I don't sleep well but the same evening the same light came out and found me about 45 minutes from original location and sight. It was 4 am and I had woken up with a quickness and looked out my window (the car, life is complicated rn) and I saw it come zooming from no where at a 45 degree angle only to stop when it noticed me noticing it in the side mirror. It went back and fourth and up and down multiple times then it started making its way towards me: directly. It stopped when I was attempting to wake my partner (to no avail) and then it danced for a moment before taking off what appeared to be backwards. This isn't my first experience but it's my first conscious experiences with this particular entity and I don't know what to make of it. I just knew I needed to wake up and that it was there and it wanted me to wake up to see it. I don't know if I should just let it come next time it comes to me but I can't help but think I don't have a choice either way. It doesn't feel bad but I can't make that assumption. View Report

I was doing my evening walk at 8:17pm. I noticed a very bright and fast flickering light. I looked up and it was very big and round somewhat transparent with a flame inside of it. What I saw frightened me so I started to run to get away from it. Then I decided to take pictures as it started moving fast going straight up into the sky. View Report

High above land, low in the sky a light went from steady to blinking between red, bright white, and green. It was steady as it hovered in the sky. After 10 minutes it darted right before descending, returning to original position, moving left and disappearing. It reappeared at least 4 times in 3 hours, spending roughly 10 to minutes in the sky, moving in seemingly random directions before disappearing from sight each time. Bases on sky location it has to be roughly the size of a car. View Report

Bright light north of orions belt near horizon line. Moving in odd circular motion and blinking occasionally. Not a normal flight path and no sounds of rotating blades. Light is now bright enough to emit halo effect in cloudless night sky. Has drifted more west but still in odd circular fashion. Blinking has stopped. View Report

I am a student at Ohio Wesleyan University. At around 8:00PM EST. Night is clear, not a single cloud. Was walking to the university dining hall and decided to stop and look up at the night since Ohio rarely has clear nights like this. Watching the lights of three 737s in the distance and I see the silhouette of a dark triangle pass over me, above the residential halls and going east. Solid black shape with three white-yellow lights at each tip of the triangle. Not zooming but still moving at a fairly high speed. No sense of scale but it seemed fairly large and didn’t seem to pass super high over the buildings. Made absolutely no noise. View Report

As I was leaving my sister's house in Urbana Ohio to head home to London Ohio, two very bright lights were in the sky. Appeared to be stars but brighter than any star I have seen. They did not move location as I drove 39 miles home. I took a picture at start of drive and also when I got home to show I could still see them. I have a hard time believing they are stars. All the other stars in the sky were dim in comparison. View Report

My husband and I both saw a stationary object in the sky, like a boomerang. I saw a boomerangs and he suspects a boomerangs. He saw it during the daylight and described it like a Lego structure, I saw it after at dusk, it looked like the Batman symbol. It was right above a tree and did not move. My husband saw it over a field, I suspect that it didn’t move, I was just looking at a different angle about 5 minutes later. We were driving down the road when he saw it (almost went off if the road). I saw it later when were in a parking lot of a store. The cashier in the store confirmed that she had her brother saw the same thing around 5:30 today. My husband and I saw it between 6:45-7:15p. View Report

Kids saw 3 orbs I saw two.. with binos. 2 holographic/plasma orbs stationary @ approximately 30k feet? They then slowly moved toward each other did a maneuver and went about a mile before disappearing. A strange light low cloud cover/Vale was present during the sighting and then was gone as well. I witnessed a very high plane seconds later so I know we didn't see a common aircraft. View Report

On 33 sitting at a pit stop and noticed what appeared to be a star shimmering or glowing. Said star was actually moving erratically in the distance in no discernable pattern. The time is around midnight to 1. Three witnesses including myself sat and watched the ufo/uap move back forth up and down and all around for an hour and a half. View Report

Flash of light up on the sky above the hill side and what appeared to turn into a circular disk with a white light all the way around the outside of the disk shaped UFO. View Report

I just now saw at 11:26 p.m. a flashing light in a circular pattern in the southwestern sky that moved Southwest in a 17 second pattern as far as I could count but it's set very quickly Within I would say 4 minutes until I couldn't see it anymore. View Report

I heard a helicopter so I looked outside my window that faces west. I saw a dark colored helicopter flying northwest and then saw this bright white tubular looking object flying southwest. It looked to be 2 parts. It was flying against the wind moving fast. But not like it was super fast. I couldn't get my phone out in time to get a picture. I would have thought it was an airplane but it was shaped like a capsule. Very white. But looked dark in the middle. Like it was colored dark in the middle or it was 2 parts. View Report

A warm-colored light gliding through the clear night sky at a slow pace-only for about 5 seconds-until it vanished out of thin air. I am absolutely certain it was not a plane, it also seemed to be too high up in the sky to be a drone. View Report

I was driving home with my friends when I saw a straight line of lights in the sky. At first they looked like stars, but as I got closer to home, it looked like nothing other than a UFO. The line of lights got longer, like I was getting closer. Once I was under it and I turned around to look, it was gone. I turned around and parked at McDonald’s to look and nothing could be seen. My friends saw it as well as someone who turned into McDonald’s, also looking because they saw the same thing. View Report

Driving north on highway 15, outside of Flagcity Ohio when we noticed a straight line of lights that appeared to be 3 football fuekds in length. Pulled to the side of the highway, got out of the vehicle where we could see the silhouette of a cylindrical shaped craft and the series of lights seemed to be the bottom of the craft. Craft passed overhead, the lights dimmed and disappeared into the night sky. We have amateur video and can share if contacted. View Report

We spotted an object in the sky on the corner of Plymouth ridge road and wright street in kingsville Ohio in Ashtabula county. We were headed west towards Ashtabula. As we looked up the object looked to be a 6 to 8 inch rod with a series of round lights on it. We got out to take a picture and it disappeared. It was around 7:30 or 8:00 pm not sure on time View Report

Around 6am eastern time. I was in my bathroom and looked out the window. I saw one object. It looked like a cluster of stars.. then another object appeared. It was shaped like a disc and bright white.. It moved towards the cluster of lights then disappeared. The cluster slowly disappeared . It kind of freaked me out. It only lasted for less than a minute.. So I wasn’t able to record it. View Report

Thought is was ISS, looked up it's location, and was over the country Chad, so it's not the ISS. It was 1:31 AM I just saw this, and still hovering over. No clue what it is. View Report

I am seeing the past 18 min a white object above me in Canton Ohio. I checked to see if it was ISS, but it was iver Chad in Middle East and still is above me.floating in different directions slowly and minimal distance. View Report

We were in Westerville, Ohio. We walked outside and witnessed three red lights in a perfect triangle. During the time that they hovered across the sky, one by one, they would disappear to the right. Then upon the left side, new red lights would appear, but they did not do another triangle formation. This was approximately 8:15 to 8:30 EST pm on December 31, 2022. View Report

Stepped outside to see 3 bright orange lights hovering above. I was celebrating new years at a friend's. This was in a neighborhood, houses every where. started as a obtuse triangle and changed shape to an equilateral.speed was slow and gradual when it transitioned.It hovered for 30 more seconds then disappeared. North Olmsted Ohio Lorain Road . Was driving. Stopped at red light looked to my left and saw a weird shaped object in sky.. shaped like an half oval. Round top and flat bottom. It was really bright. I saw it for about 5 seconds and it disappeared into the sky. No windows or anything like a plane would . View Report

I was driving SB from west to east while driving on Green Rd, in Shaker Heights, OH, suddenly saw a green orb move across the sky at an incredible rate of speed, no other flashing lights seen on craft.. was out of sight in a matter of 2-3 seconds. View Report

I was driving to work one night around 9:30 I was leaving town and it’s completely dark out, there are very little stars in the sky, sort of cloudy. I seen this big round beam of light. It appeared to be going really fast I seen it once with a really bright white/yellow light then it went behind clouds and came back out again with that bright light then it disappeared. I have no doubt in my mind what I saw was a UFO. I didn’t make it to my phone to get a video, the event was very quick I would saw about 10 seconds in total. View Report

I was in my backyard and I first saw one bright light flashing red then white back and forth with a light shining from it. I at first thought it was maybe a plane or a helicopter but then I realized it was too high up to be one then it started moving up and down and side to side too fast to be a plane or helicopter. Then there was another one close to it that appeared then the one disappeared and the one left started coming towards my direction pretty fast . So I went inside. View Report

Lights in the sky moving in odd Manor and too fast to be a drone and comes back every night for the last month looks like a ball of energy is the best way I can describe it, and if you shine a flashlight at it or something or a cell phone at it more show up like four or five more show up View Report

I am currently attending school at the RecW in Chillicothe Ohio. I was standing outside on the road that the school in located on facing south west (although the road itself leads south in a more straight direction, this was at a bend in the road) . When I first walked out I noticed three bright lights that formed a triangle if you connected the points. I thought it was some weird planes at first because I saw what looked like the 2 flashing lights that would be on a plane in the night sky, one green one red. Before I had a chance the think about how strange it was I saw the sky light up with many more lights. There were at least 15 that lit up in a formation similar to migrating geese and about 10 others that were more scattered both above and below the formed ones. When the lit up however they all deviated slightly as if they still had a small amount of kinetic energy and were floating slightly. The closest reference to what it looked like are videos of bombs being being dropped in Gaza and the anti aircraft guns shooting them down. The orange glow in particular except most of them glowed in and out in a 2 second window. I saw them around 6:50 pm but maybe a little before. They looked 3 times bigger than Jupiter on a clear night. The whole sighting lasted maybe 10 seconds. I have never seen anything like before and I don't think I will ever see anything like it again. I had always hoped I would have some sort of ufo experience but I never expected to see so many lights in the sky and have no idea what I'm looking at. View Report

Tonight in the sky in 3 different locations triangular shape about 9 lights coming from the bottom stand still we started looking at them at 9:10pm its 9:41pm now the one is At a 10 degree angle 1/2 mile high approximately 1000 feet south of our house in Willoughby, Ohio over Lost Nation airport. The other two are the same shape but farther away one looks like a few miles to the northwest the other a few miles to the northeast its 9:54 pm all still there. View Report

Was at work at the airport, when I looked up and saw what I could describe as a star lit object and another similar but dimly lit object going across the sky in almost a formation overhead heading from the southwestern direction to northeast direction View Report

It started with a shooting star nov 5 and then two days after I saw the taurid star come out and two stars moving on top of it one stopped left to the top of it and the other one on top of the other two aligned with the taurid star I’ve seen and have videos of different extraterrestrial craft and ufos It’s slot to understand I wish I could of recorded a lot of things that I’ve seen ofter I see them almost every day it became normal December 4 was the last day I seen them . I was sitting in my car on the phone with my grandma and at 9:40 I saw an object as bright as the North Star fly in a sideways S pattern across the sky and disappear. This was unmistakable and a truly shocking even for me. I definitely believe that the government, another country or aliens were flying in the sky and I didn’t think I would say that. Watching the monitor of live feed from our outdoor security camera, saw this sphere/ball of light in our front yard. We started recording using our iPhones not knowing what it was, recorded for 6 minutes ultimately brushing it off as a bug, but this was absolutely not a bug! This ball of light moves up, down, side to side, it comes closer and gets further away. It also shines light that you can see reflecting off of the house across the street! View Report

I came out of a Kroger in Westerville, Ohio and noticed the clouds in the distance were chocolate brown colored. I snapped a photo to show my husband when I got home because I had never seen clouds that color. When I showed the photo to my husband later he noticed 2 lights way up high in the sky. Early in the morning when the sunrise should have been shining bright yellow in my bedroom window, as I lay in my bed under the covers, suddenly I strange glow of blue light slowly beamed through the blinds and oddly in the top center of my ceiling across from my bed. A low flying plane,no sound,a big one but was strange about it you could see through it.it look like a gost plane and it just disappeared. I saw a slightly plnk colored round orb,it hovered for a few seconds,then went to the right super fast,hovered there for a few second,then went back to its original spot,super fast,then in went down super fast,stayed there for a few seconds,then it came back up to its original spot,stayed there for a few seconds,then shot off to my left super fast,that is the last i saw of it. My grandson and son were throwing a hula hoop up in the air. My son said mom go get your binoculars. When I looked up through the binoculars, I saw a round craft with a silver round window in the front and with a red stripe on the bottom. Not from it was a mechanical looking bird flying that was white with a red stripe on the bottom. The mechanical bird flew into a regular bird. When I passed the binoculars to my son and looked up with naked eyes I noticed six crafts in the sky. They were spaced apart by two's. They moved in two ways only next to each other horizontally then one above the other one, then back horizontally next two each other. Then my son pointed in the direction of my back yard and I saw two small circles above the tree that resembled dandelions in the stage when they are white and we picked them and blew them away as children. I posted it on Facebook asking did anyone see anything strange in the sky. Well all I got was the sun. I did not stay home to watch. My family left for my husband's company annual picnic. I have been wanting to report this for some time. View Report

First, my date is off, it was in the fall of 2013. I was raking leaves. From the West an object flew East. This object(like a triangle) was moving faster than any jet. There was no sound. I estimate it was 3000' above ground. It was like it went slow motion over me. I could not talk about it for weeks, thus my date is off. I believe it effected my recall. It was very weird what I witnessed that day. I would like to add, I served in the US Navy. I worked many hours on the flight deck of a aircraft carrier. I have seen super sonic flights of fighter aircraft. I estimate this object to be going 2500 mph at least. I have looked for years to see if this ever was reported. I have found nothing. I was very young and went to bed and the next I remember was lying on a table and not being able to move anything but my head. It was a large dark room. I could see a lot of equipment but I couldn’t tell what they were. I could hear people moving around, I guess they were people but I never saw anyone. There was a monitor above me and it had lines moving across the screen and making terrible noises! This happened to me for several nights. I hated noise it was making! On the last night I started screaming and all of a sudden I was in my bed and I rolled out and fell on the floor and went screaming to my Mom! I was born in 1948 and our TV had a round screen. The monitor was square. I had never seen a square screen before! I have seen several UFOs in my life time. I can still see the room I was in, in my mind! View Report

I’ve lake cable in Jackson twnshp OH. On 2/28/2023 two bright lights were over the lake. I watched as I pulled into my drive and they began to move in tandem fast and strange. They were stationary at first and then started blitzing around. I pulled my phone out and the lights stopped. I recorded 5 minutes of it trying to slowly sonk behind trees. It was yesterday evening I noticed two bright lights to the northwest of the sky, thought it was a really bright star or could have been a planet but then all my neighbors came out we all started looking at it and I noticed it was a triangle formation with three different lights and it was a blinking red light on the bottom of it and I wake up this morning in the news are trying to say that and it shows the picture of the object I'm speaking of that it was planets Jupiter and Saturn I believe or something like that that was seen but as far as I know planets don't blink red and they don't look like triangle formations and I have other eyewitnesses saying they watched it go from a to b and split of a second and then just disappear playing it's do not do this.
