At 6pm in Redding, CA I saw a very large ( 500 feet+ diameter ) roundish cloud-white globe UFO traveling south in the thundercloads, for a moment it was completely visible as it remained motionless then kept traveling south in the thunderclouds. I noticed two small round globes at the big globes base. I was talking on my cell phone to my friend when I saw the UFO, and appearently I talked really excited and was shocked.

I have lived in Redding for 9 years. I watch the sky a lot. I have seen several night time, unusual lights (not planes).
pretty much every time I watch the night sky I see something unusual.
One daytime sighting that I reported to MUFON (# 127042) was years ago, I don't remember the date.
Broad daylight, disk shaped object, dull grey in color one side darker than the other, flipping end over end as it zipped along just below the solid grey cloud ceiling. Looked to be about 12 feet diameter. I was in the RABA bus customer parking lot looking west / southwest. Not sure of the altitude but it was below the cloud cover. It was headed northwest (towards Mt. Shasta?) I watched it for a couple of minutes I guess. The first thought I had was "google maps".
Think this report may match another sighting — same object, same night, nearby location?
