I was at the bus stop right after work which I got off at 9 pm so it was about 9:08 pm and it was on Sandrock Dr. close to Aero Dr. on the hill across the street from the CVS shopping area in San Diego.

It was hovering low over across the street, just above and next to the roof of the CVS over the street.
It made a low hum, with three lights, it was triangle shape. It was INVISABLE, but I could see the outline of the massive ship.
It hovered over me for a good 8 mins. approx. then it just shot off faster than light in the direction of Miramar Air Force Base.
It was Gone! Fast! There were people walking around at night, but no one ever looked up. It felt as though it was scanning.

I never saw anything like that in my entire life, so now I always look up at the skies.
Not sure exactly what month it was, but if I did research I could figure it out exactly what month. I was around March or April after the Academy Awards 2003. Tried to tell people, they did not want to listen or believe. "Wait until you see one", is what I thought.
