Living in SW Louisiana about 200-300 miles from Pascagoula Ms. On the night of 10/11/1973 approximately 8pm a friend and I went way out in to the countryside far away from any city lights where there was complete darkness and a abundance of cow pastures and only gravel roads. We stopped the car on the side of a pasture. There was a ditch and wire fence bordering the pasture. The only light came from the starlit sky. We were standing outside the car when I noticed a red light moving from west to east in the sky. It stopped suddenly and turned color to a brilliant emerald green. There was absolutely no sound. It then started to descend on about a 45 degree angle. The pasture we were next to was shaped like a horseshoe so I told my friend let’s get to the other side. We went around to the other side it was still in view and was now pulsating in the most brilliant colors of red, green and orange. Still absolutely no sound. It was to the left of us about 100ft. in altitude and moving slowly across the road in front of us. I told my friend drive faster blink your lights off and on. He was driving so fast it was like we were hydroplaning on the gravel. We were so excited you can’t imagine! As it came across the road about 75yds. in front it changed color to a brilliant yellow. My friend yelled it turned purple and it looked like something dropped out it but I didn’t see that. I was so excited! As it went over to the pasture to our right it stopped moving and was still at about 100ft. altitude and there wasn’t a sound. It was completely stationary. We stopped and jumped out and we were standing in a ditch holding onto the wire fence in total darkness watching this amazing thing. There wasn’t a breeze there wasn’t a sound it was pulsating in those incredibly intense colors again of red, green and orange. We couldn’t make out the shape of it even though it was only about 50yds. from us because of the intensity of the pulsating lights. As we stood there I turned to my friend and said I still remember the words "we’re looking at something from another world.” It then looked like it was going to move to the north and was gone. It was gone like you turn the light off in your bedroom. Little did we know that 200-300 miles to the east two men Charles Hickson and Calvin Parker were having the most incredible experience you can’t even imagine. The next day in the local paper there was an article about a family in a small community about 3 miles to the north from where we were that reported a object with red, green and orange lights with no sound and zig zagged at times and looked like something dropped out of it. I still have that newspaper clipping. But no one that night saw it as close as we were to it!
