UFO Report from Gypsum, COLORADO

Extremely bright light on horizon facing W ( slightly NW) in Gypsum Colorado. It was still for about 20 minutes then went up a bit and stayed in that spot for another half hour.
I was at an event with a group of people; I decided to bring this to other people’s attention and the others agreed it was odd. I told the group it could be Saturn, but also acknowledged it was too big/bright; too far away from the moon and that it had move vertical at one point. One man said it was a plane coming towards us but I stated it had been there for an hour.
I excused myself to use the bathroom, I was gone for about 10 minutes. When I returned the man who I had spoken to said ‘hey look ‘Saturn’s’ gone’.
I turned around and saw that it was gone. He then told me that it had split into 5 separate lights which turned different colors, he said that as he was about to get his phone to take a video it shot off and disappeared. 4 other people who were sitting there all said they saw the same thing. I have a photo ( not great) of the light before it had split into five and disappeared.
