I was sitting in a tractor waiting on a semi to get back so I could offload soybeans. As I was admiring the stars in the east sky, a light similar in brightness to the brightest star in the sky rose up from the horizon. As it rose higher, it kept getting brighter, until it was 3-4x brighter than anything else in the sky. It finally stopped rising, and sat still in the air, strobing/spinning wildly. I watched it for about 3 minutes, then in an instant it vanished no movement, no fade out, no sound. Just gone.

I want to also put, I have seen this phenomenon 2 other times in my life, exactly the way this happened. Once in 2009, and once in 2018.
