Witness Account

I was outside my house around 8pm (CST).I was looking at the stars, which are highly visible in the country where I reside. I noticed planes flying high really only distinguishable by their blinking lights. I noticed one object that looked like a star, but moved in an obvious trajectory. This is only speculation based on qualitative data observed; however, it looked as though it must have been traveling thousands of miles per hour then blinked out. During this event I called my wife to see it. It definitely wasn't a shooting star or satellite.
