Witness Account

I didn’t report this at the time (I don’t think) but I was recently talking about it and then thought I would report it - because maybe someone else saw the same thing. Or maybe someone has seen something similar. It was May 29, 2011. I have the date because I posted on Facebook “I want to believe” - without adding any details. I think I posted the story a few days later, but I have to find the post.
I was a standing on my porch - fairly late at night. I saw a silent, barely lit, object fly over my porch. It had a “ribbon” shape to it, like a rectangular shape that was rippled slightly. It was glowing all around the edges - like it had little lights all around the edge - but the only reason I saw it was because it moved so quickly, and so it caught my attention. It made no noise. It was high overhead, but I would say it was “low flying”. It came from nowhere and disappeared into the horizon. That’s how fast it moved. I have only ever seen one video online that resembled what I saw because it was such an unusual shape.
