2 friends and I were out at 8 mile and Haggerty, where Meijer's sits now, sitting on a concrete pile. It was dark, and we were slowly illuminated, lit up bright orange all at once, the entire area we stood in, and looked for the source, it was an orange orb, much less than 500 feet away, about 100-150 feet away, over some apple trees, and it just hovered, bright orange as ever as we shouted and pointed in disbelief, it did a spiral and shot almost straight into the northwest sky at an impossible speed. One of us three just passed away, and I’m glad to have this opportunity.. my father worked for DOD at the time, we had just come back from church camp and were saved, and this pretty much trashed my belief in anything biblical.
