I was driving through Moab, Utah, with just my dog. I'm a female and unfamiliar with this state so I was on high alert additionally, I had just driven through the heavy fog from the fires in Colorado. I'm traveling Northwest and crossing the Colorado River. For anyone whos been on that bridge you can only cross over the river.

So it's about 12:26am and I've turned off my music because I hear my dog growling in the backseat. I check the rear view and see shes staring at what appears to be a lifted truck's square white headlights with a red circle light in the center and a bit lower than the squares.

The lights are really, really close to my rear window. I first thought of tailgating. I checked my side mirrors and didn't see anything. No cars, no lights, not even light from the main source. I also couldnt hear any other car but my own. I check the back once more before leaning a bit to double check the side mirrors, when my dog starts barking at the right backseat widow, while staying behind the driver seat and stretching her neck to see what went below the car window.

Once, I refocus on the road my carplay disconnects and I loose service on my phone for a good 3 miles.
