I will be as honest and fair with my description as I can be. I walked outside to grab something out of my vehicle. As usual I gazed up into the clear night sky briefly, but this time I noticed something odd. So I stopped and did a slow double-take. Standing there in my driveway, I saw what I thought were stars forming an unfamiliar constellation. The longer I gazed, I noticed that there were three oddly placed bright stars. The light coming from them was a soft white like Venus, and they were formed in a triangle. At this point I’m trying to figure out why this seems so odd. As I continued gazing, I thought, “Wait…are those moving?” Yes. They were…very, very slowly in unison, from North Northeast to South Southwest. At that point I noticed a satellite moving in the opposite direction of the lights. And I’m like, “Ok…I know that’s a satellite, but what are those?” As they moved across the sky they began to seemingly expand their triangular formation and gradually fade away, seeming to pick up speed ever so slightly. I say seemingly because night vision can be a bit tricky. And of course I didn’t have my phone. Lol because why would I? I reached for it because at first I thought I was seeing a constellation of stars, and I was going to identify it with the Sky Guide app. My take on it? Very well could’ve been satellites. I’ve heard of bright passes, but it was the formation, the very slow, almost stationary, movement, and the separation and gradual fading away into the night. But I’m content with calling them UFOs. Haven’t heard any other reports. Maybe it was just for me and the possible one other person who witnessed it. Lol even if they were satellites, it was a sight to see.
Think this report may match another sighting — same object, same night, nearby location?
