Witness Account

I was driving north past the Vanderbilt Estate on Route 9 in Hyde Park, New York. It was about 5:40pm. I looked upward and saw what I initially thought were lights on a radio tower. Then I realized there is no radio tower on the Vanderbilt property. Then, thought perhaps it is a plane or helicopter. But it was not moving. I rolled down my window to hear an engine sound. It was completely quiet. The three lights in the sky were motionless. They were lights on the points of a triangle. It seemed to be grayish between the lights - like the underbelly of an object. Totally quiet. Totally motionless. I could not pull over - so I drove about a mile & turned around to go back to where I saw it. It was gone. No sign of it. This experience did not frighten me - which I find amazing. I felt calm. Did anyone else in the area see this? I am so curious to know & to speak with someone who could understand my experience. I KNOW it was not a plane, helicopter or weather balloon as detractors will say it was.
