Maryland UFO Reports

So, one night I was hanging out ima get straight to the point, and my my people ended up viewing this BRIGHT object, which was moving extremely slow damn near hovering, made no sound, but was as FAST as lightening when it disappeared, this object was the size of 2-3 football fields, it looked like an oval, or dome shaped object, the lights on the side were blinking green, as the bottom side of the craft blinked red black and forth repeatedly, white was spotted on the top of the craft which was also a blink, once we finished viewing it for about 15-20 minutes, it literally blasted off somewhere in the ski extremely high, looked like the craft went over 1000 MPH in a second, just think of a bullet going through the sky without no sound, it straight up disappeared and we never saw it again. I saw an object two nights in a row approximately 18 miles Northwest of my position Latitude 39.526479 Longitude-76.544968. It was bright and had 3-4 lights across and a red light below and stayed in the same position for several hours, from around 9:00pm until 11:00pm. View Report

Hello, I live in upper Marlboro Maryland very close to Andrews Air Force Base, & there are unexplainable things happening in the sky all the time! From glowing lights, to UFO’s that I do not believe belong to the Military. I use to be a skeptic but too many things have happened that I’ve seen & can’t explain. I often stargaze at night, & I usually look towards the Air Force Base! On march 22nd, while stargazing, one particular star or so I thought, started flashing as if it was an aircraft. Once I locked into it for about 10 seconds. It took off so fast headed south towards Waldorf Md, that I actually watched it just vanished! One of the best experiences I’ve had yet! View Report

Approximately February 23, 2023, at approximately 1820-1840, while driving to my night shift job as a nurse, I saw a small (from my car to the sky, it seemed small), green triangle-ish shaped “plane” flying in the sky over Maryland. I was driving southbound on I 83 from my home in Pennsylvania to my job in Maryland. At first, I wasn’t sure what I was seeing. I thought maybe a comet, because it seemed to be falling downward, but then it simultaneously changed speed and direction, flying straight, almost upward, faster than any plane or jet I’ve ever seen and then it disappeared. A few years ago in Massachusetts, while visiting family, we saw a bright green comet that was very large and had a trail of green to white behind it and it was definitely falling. This, although about the same green color, did not act the same. And as I said, it wasn’t falling downward, but actually appeared to speed up in a slightly upward direction before disappearing. I looked this up online to see if anyone else reported anything similar in the area or anywhere. It was then that I saw the green comet was flying close enough to earth for us to be able to see it, but the dates were all wrong. The comet could be visualized the very beginning of February and this was the end of February. I even did a search for “where is the green comet now” and found no information. I am curious to know if there have been any similar sightings anywhere. The only thing I have found is something about a black triangle, but what I saw was definitely a bright color. I am sure it was a bright or lighter green. I am a nurse. I am fairly educated and reasonably sane. I hope. Please help! We’re my eyes deceiving me?! View Report

Triangle flew over Burtonsville toward laurel. It was so clear to see above my neighborhood and by the time I drove out on the main road, it was barely visible, but still flying low. Almost like it had landed somewhere. We have an airport in Baltimore (BWI), but in all 32 years living here, I’ve never seen an object fly so low and so fast. 3 orange lights made up te triangle. I look out my window to see Blinking lights hovering over wicomico county, eventually splitting into 2 peices each with their own blinking lights slowly moving away from each other. No it's not a helicopter, I walked outside to get a better look as the objects were in standstill, I could hear no sound at all. View Report

Bright red light spotted flying over NAVAIR base. Living ne’er the base, I have seen lots of planes and it looked nothing like I have ever seen. It is also 6:00 at night and is somewhat dark, planes only tend to take off during the day when it isn’t raining. What makes it more weird is that it disappeared after about 5 seconds of viewing it. around 8:30pm est thiss the 1st genuine sighting iv ever had, im also the first person in the room to try to explain away the "ufo", not that i Dont believe.. i just saw 3 bright "spots", traveling SE i have no idea what shape the light was it too brilliant n flickered too much to get any kind of shape. they were way brighter than planes, they were flying in the typical one leading, one following staggered to the right, and the other following that staggered to the left making a triangle, it was 3 seperate craft for sure tho, not one large triangular one. there were plenty of things to reference from for brightness, from planes to thousand foot radio towers with lights to buildings close and in the distance these were way brighter and more brilliant than anything in the sky or ground, brilliant meaning the light bled a lot more than """normal""" lights were, for sure more than anything else we could see (i was with multiple ppl that saw it, thank the universe!) anyway the light seemed to "dance" around a little, not like the object was moving, just the light danced on it, it also bled like it was in fog, but sharper..if that makes any sense...probably not.. :/ do u know how super bright stage lights kind of blur light out around them??? kind of a diffused or frosted look, it just kinda bleeds out a little.. they were a brilliant white but with barely noticeable other colors mixed in, most prominently red and some green, the red wasnt consistent, it would appear a little n kind of dance around just like the white light the effect was almost exactly like the effect u get when u see light thru heat waves off coming off a hot surface it looked like the white light was simply so bright it was flooding out the other colors most of the time we didnt get much time to see them, we came up over the hill n saw them, sat there for about minute but they were already starting to disappear over the horizon unfortunately, they didnt appear to b moving fast View Report

At about 11:45 a.m. (EST) coupled white and red spherical objects spotted at about 20,000. Object moving SE at a neglible rate of speed. No sign of contrails. View Report

Driving along a back road with no street lights at 3:30 am, a bright white orb floated directly over the power lines and flew over my car. Extremely bright, and had an odd glow surrounding it. View Report

3 dot ufo in triangle formation moving extremely quickly from north to south near BWI and was completely silent. The color of the lights were whitish yellow. No other lights on the craft was observed and no other ir light was emitted from the craft or visible exhaust as seen though a night vision device. View Report

3 glowing orbs flying north to south in tight triangular formation the orbs aperid to be sub 10,000 feet made no noise and looked like it had no visible craft connecting the dots. About 10 minutes later I noticed a large flying bracket shaped craft flying north west to south east the craft had no visible navigation lights or any strobe and made no noise. I looked at a flight tracker from 22:00 to 23:00 (the time we were outside and watched these events) and saw no crafts on the radar moving in the direction as it crosses paths with a runway for BWI. It looked like one or two very low flying crafts just sitting in one spot hovering. The one looked like it was facing me had very bright white light coming from it and the other looked to have red colored lights coming from it. It could have been just one craft but appeared to be two objects. But whatever it was it was just sitting in one spot very low to the ground just hovering. In my knowledge there is no aircraft that can sit in one spot that long hovering. The shape of them were very strange. Something I have never seen before. View Report

Friday, December 9th, around 4:30 pm. My daughter and I were standing outside talking when we saw a slow moving, oblong shaped, glowing white object. A few seconds later another glowing oblong object came extremely close to the first object and passed it before briefly stopping a little ways ahead of the first object. It then sped off extremely fast and that was when we lost sight of the second object. The slower moving object hovered in the same place for a few seconds before continuing on at a slower pace. Then it all of a sudden sped off and disappeared behind a cloud (I think). That's when we lost sight of the first object. I live near BWI Airport so I am very familiar with how airplanes look. These were DEFINITELY NOT airplanes. Other than the glowing whitish light they gave off, there were no other lights. Neither object had wings or a tail, things that are perfectly observable on airplanes. I serious doubt that the FAA/ Control Tower would have allowed two airplanes to fly that close to one another. There would surely have been a crash if that was so. Honestly, I was a skeptic when it comes to UFOs but now that I've seen 2 of them with my own eyes, I have no doubt that they exist. There is no other explanation for what these objects could have been. View Report

Flashing lights hovering over the ocean for about an hour off assateague island. It appeared to have been circle shaped and made maneuvers that looked like a bee. Up down left to right very quickly. It then disappeared, and it didn’t reappear. View Report

I have seen several sightings sometimes I chase them because I am up all hours of the night and I also spot light the and some times I have gotten a response I have videos to prove it i also no we’re there is a hot spot we’re I have been studying for 4 years and it is definitely a hot spot but there has only been one time I got a direct response I shined my high power spot light at it and began to get close to me so I signal my light 3 times and it got closer and blowing up twice the size and flashed 3 times back and then went back to the original size so I did again and it did it again this went on for about 5 minutes moving very close about 150 ft for me I began to get really scared and got out of the I also had a girl with at the time she didn’t me about my hot spot and I took her there and it happened this kind of stuff has been happening to me a lot I promise I have some videos that are mind blowing and will make people a believers and also I too friends that spot also and the videos they have are really some thing we have a space ship that is on the ground also we got a pic of some type of portal I promise you that I have no experience in video editing at all and they can go ** off if they try to say it is I will take them myself and sho then in person that this is something like they have never seen so please take me seriously and get back to me. Myself and 3 friends, along with their child witnessed something we couldn't explain. It was an oval white object. It was extremely windy on this day, and at that altitude, why wasn't it moving. Then for about 15-20 mins it would disappear and come back. Disappear and come back. Like it was playing with us. We all finally walked away in silence with jaws dropped. A few months later, I thought I saw a meteor streaking across the sky. After a few seconds I realized this meteor was very strange. It appeared to be at a still position before it shot across the sky. I mean, can a meteor be coming towards me and then just take a left turn and keep on going. View Report

In 2018 I'm standing outside on a clear night on my front deck and off in the distance this light came into view. At first I thought it was a helicopter from it's front light . But this light would hover for a second in one spot then it would be in anouther spot instantly. Like it was there one second and then when the lights would go out it was in anouther part of the sky and was just moving here and there almost instantly.i couldn't hear no sound .then out of no we're here was another ball of light just like the first one and together would move from spot to spot in a very small section of the sky. Then it hit me these strange lights were over a nuclear power plant. This plant is call peach bottom nuclear power plant. This was a night it was a very quiet night all the Stars were out clear sky. So I was able to tell that this wasn't a Star nor the moon these lights made no sound and the way they moved over this power plant was like they were measuring out the property or mapping out it lay out out. Then both lights just took off heading I believe south away from the plant and was gone with in a matter of second's. Iits really hard to describe in words with out seeing this your self. I guess what got me the most was that I lived only a quarter mile maybe less from that plant. I never witnessed any lights at night over in that area especially over the top of the power plant moving in strange ways with absolutely no sound at all.the lights were a very bright light and if they were looking on the ground you would of seen a beam of light from both craft but it seemed like that wasn't what they were doing these light seamed like they were mapping out the property and very quickly was gone heading South away from the plant and away from me and were I was standing watching. It's was strange to me the way they moved and how there was no sound and how fast they were when they left. View Report

This is an old even that happened to me in the spring of 1998 in Reisterstown, Maryland. I was driving home around midnight in a residential area. There were houses on both sides of the street. All of a sudden I noticed three red orbs about 20 feet above the homes to my left. I pulled my vehicle over, got out, and looked up at these three orbs. They were moving around almost as if they were playing a game of tag with each other, or searching for something on the ground. Very sporadic motions. As they were flying around each other they were also slowly moving east and getting further away. I got back in the vehicle after a few minutes, in an attempt to follow. I tried to follow the orbs but they took a different path than the road and I lost sight of them. My closest point to them was approximately 50 feet. I would estimate they were the size of beach balls and glowed a deep amber color. I don't remember the exact date but it was spring of 1998. View Report

I was driving home from a date at about 4AM. I was on route 5 just north of Waldorf MD when I saw police lights in the distance. I figured it was a checkpoint so I wasn't worried about it. When I got there I found about 6 cops looking to my left on the northbound side of the road. I looked over and saw a large circular object floating behind a motorcycle shop. I figured it was something from PAX River Naval Testing station. One of the officers said they had checked on that and it was not from PAX. He told me that it was definitely a UFO. I moved away from the area for awhile and when I came back I noticed the motorcycle shop was gone and now there's a large brick building on the site, the size of a warehouse. I have never seen a report about this siting. Now that I'm going to be turning 60 I might be the only living witness to this so I hope someone might want to check this out because I believe this warehouse was built by the government.I'm not a nut and this 100% is true. 1976 3:00am bright light came from above could see nothing but the light at Lincoln and Bellona Avenue lutherville, Maryland the light went off could see or hear nothing looked around the sky and a block down the street there was an oval shaped ship just above the Treetops with different color lights going around I got out of the car and walk towards it so I could get a better look because the trees were hiding part of it it started to move without making a sound and Rose higher and higher in the air it went out over top of the Beltway of 695 stopped and sat in the sky for about 5 minutes and then it shot off into space at the blink of an eye I saw this thing up close it was a huge.
