Driving home in Ellenton FL around 11:45 pm, see a very bright green orb, very circular, no tail, speeding very fast from high in eastern sky to low in western sky. It looked very large compared to pictures of orbs I have seen . It took my breath away.very well-defined margins, not blurry.Color almost citrusy green.

I saw a similar thing in tampa florida on may 12th 2024 around 11:30pm, the thing i saw was a white colored bright short egg like shaped orb shooting downwards super fast, was in the sky for about 1 second. again very fast and a light trail that moved with the orb. i haven't seen any posts but this one similar to it.
