This is the first time I’m reporting what I saw and experienced the night of January 29, 2022 in Richmond va. I walked down my driveway to my mailbox. I looked up in the sky and saw Orion’s Belt. The night was crystal clear really really bright. I was watching Orion’s star Rigel. It was moving around like stars do but quickly I saw the star/orb move northeast and it picked up speed. I felt terrified and looked down at my feet and thought I can’t move them. I looked back up and noticed what I thought was the moon to my right but it was twice the size of a full moon and orange. But my attention was with the orb. Suddenly a plane was approaching our airport to land. The orb stopped when the plane passed over then the orb moved back to its original position of Rigel the star.
Then a red light lit up and sparkled then a blue light sparkled on the right side of orb. Then out of the corner of my eyes on the left side of orb I see something unreal. There were what seemed to be about 30 orbs appear out of nowhere. And one at a time each orb lit up a red then a blue sparkly light. This all took place for four minutes at most.
I realized I could move again and thought this is crazy. So I went inside.
In the following years of 2023 and 2024, I went out to view the sky on January 29 at 9:20pm and it was too cloudy. In 2025 the sky was clear. Orion’s Belt and the moon were their normal size, nothing like what I saw that night in 2022. I don’t know what I saw January 29. I’ve not had any experience since.
President Biden, two weeks after my sighting, announced at a press conference that the US shot down three orbs in our airspace. That was it.
