I was flying my drone and was at the entrance to my neighborhood with a friend of mine. We were parked and talking as I was just fooling around with my drone. And I noticed some type of lights in the distance so I turned back to look again with the camera. My altitude at the time was right at 390ft. So I was very much able the highest object in the area and for a great distance. PointBlank, TX is a very flat part of East Texas. The highest pine tree usually reaches about 80ft. I estimate. But just to make sure I wasn't seeing something on the ground like car lights in the distance (which I knew I wasn't, and so did my friend) I climbed to the max altitude of 1640ft. There was no change.
The object(s) themselves were white lights in a straight lines moving in a forward motion and as they went up and down maybe a couple hundred feet up and down. Leaving what looked like sparkling lights behind each that would fade off over sometime. So it looks like a white sparkling wave after trail. I set the point of sighting on where I was at the time or the drone was. (Pointblank, TX) if you zoom out of the map and follow a heading of SxSW to the Conroe, TX area that was the direction if was from my drone's POV. I didn't know how far away the object(s) were for several months, but then I was showing my neighbor the footage and her 13/14 year old daughter said, "Oh my God, those were the things over my friends house I was telling your about Mom!!" We confirmed the date she stayed at her friend's house and it was same day/night.
From her and her friends standpoint, they were picking up the yard from a BBQ they were having with friends and family that ran late, when her, her friend noticed the yard was getting brighter, like lights were shining everywhere, kept getting brighter and brighter. Then they looked up and seen these orbs moving across they sky, VERY low in her terms. But made no sound at all. What she described as far as speed, could be 20-80, maybe 100mph. Considering the estimate I've determined assuming these orbs were about 300-800ft in the air. So that's really hard to be accurate on. But in the video, I uploaded, I'm going to try and upload two videos, same footage just one original and second one I tried to enhance it a bit, but not much I can do. it's in 720p best that drone would do at the time. But as a reference I know these pieces of info to consider. The horizon is exactly in the middle of the video, I pan up at one point but only to zero back the horizon line just to make sure. The objects themselves are over the "Old Waverly" area just East of "New Waverly" (where the neighbors daughter was visiting).
