Missouri UFO Reports

At about 0230, 5 April 2024, Saint Peters/Harvester MO, I was returning home from a quick run to the gas station for cigarettes when a single bright light appeared in my line of sight in the sky, travelling at a high rate of speed slower than a shooting star but seemingly faster than a plane, moving close to parallel to the horizon before turning downwards (or flying away in same direction, hard to tell exactly) towards the horizon before I lost it behind trees and such. If it wasn't a plane crash I'd have to say maybe a UFO, definitely not what is described as Elon Musk's space station thing as it was a single light. View Report

About 2200hr I stepped out side stood in front of my garage. I was looking at two bright orbs about 3/4 of a mile away. I watched them for ten or fifteen minutes and went back inside. When I was a small kid growing up watching black and white TV the news would be talking about reports of people seeing saucer ships. The US ARMY AIR Defense is now recommending appointment of a Ambassador to Earths Neighbors. They want the people to stay calm. WE AS A PEOPLE MUST MOVE FORWARD AND TAKE THAT FIRST STEP. View Report

I was sitting in a tractor waiting on a semi to get back so I could offload soybeans. As I was admiring the stars in the east sky, a light similar in brightness to the brightest star in the sky rose up from the horizon. As it rose higher, it kept getting brighter, until it was 3-4x brighter than anything else in the sky. It finally stopped rising, and sat still in the air, strobing/spinning wildly. I watched it for about 3 minutes, then in an instant it vanished no movement, no fade out, no sound. Just gone. I want to also put, I have seen this phenomenon 2 other times in my life, exactly the way this happened. Once in 2009, and once in 2018. View Report

I came outside to smoke a cigarette at roughly 5 am or so and caught a strang looking object in the sky (which at first glance looked like a large star. At first, with the naked eye, it had a cross like appearance. But when I got out my cell phone to video it, it became large, round and moved in a weird way and even pulsated too. It was not the moon, it was not an airplane, it appeared to be orb-like. It was very strange. View Report

8:45 pm st louis mo. Near airport,(5 miles), while watching sky and common flight pattern of incoming airliners saw what looked like a ballon at first following plane on the right side. This could not be as it was same height and moving at identical speed for about 10 seconds until fading over home. Some what opaque almost see thru. View Report

Black triangle with white flashing light at each point was slowing gliding across the sky in a straight line it was making a humming sound as it continued to the trees and suddenly disappeared I couldn't take my eyes off of it can't explain the feeling I had at that moment but I experienced something that was not of this world no one believes me and thinks I'm crazy now but I was able to get a short video just before it disappeared they object wobbled as it gliding across the sky View Report

No sound about 12 white lights in formation. Line of separate lights quietly. Slowly moved over night sky..8:30 8:40. View Report

8:42 pm saw a long straight beam of light flying west to east at a very high rate of speed then suddenly disappeared. Was definitely not satellite. Was only visible for about 15 seconds and was able to get 2 pictures before it disappeared. View Report

I was flying into Kansas City this morning and saw this random massive marking in this field that kinda creeped me out. Its crazy big and I could only see it for a few moments but felt like it definitely was something worth mentioning, with all the UFO mentions going on - especially in Kansas City. View Report

Friend's dad was taking us back to town on backroads near Sedalia to a small town called Colecamp. As we reached the end of highway friend's dad pointed out the lights said it looked weird and we thought it was a tower far away. But when we got closer saw there was 4 lights evenly spread to seem to have two lights closer to us and two evenly spread out from the closer two,if light placing was traced would make a square all small and same size lights. It was light enough to see the body of the object but to dark to exact color Object was completely stationary and we couldn't hear anything strange. We all three have videos and pictures of the object. We had sight of it for about 10 minutes or so but had places to be and left. View Report

Vertical white cylinder with arms hovering over Rolling Hills and route WW in Columbia, Mo moving slowly south and East. White in appearance but very reflective. Floating at an altitude lower than aircraft but higher than helicopters fly. I saw it around 3:05pm, after hearing sonic boom around 2:45pm. View Report

Ten years ago I saw a cylindrical object stationary in the sky above Table Rock Lake somewhat north of the Dam. This was broad daylight. It just was hanging in the sky not moving no sign of propulsion no sound. After a few minutes it began shaking and then poof was gone. View Report

Between 12:05 and 12:10 am New Year’s morning (central time) 3 yellow/orange colored lights were observed above the fireworks in a Southern eastern neighborhood of Tegucigalpa, Honduras. It seemed stuck high above the fireworks. One of the lights was blinking. This observation was seen for only a few seconds and then disappeared quickly. We are visiting from Missouri but don’t know where to report international sightings. This seems exactly what was reported a couple of days ago in Pennsylvania (30 December). View Report

All events that follow occurred between the hours of 03:45 and 04:05. I first visualized the event in Concordia while traveling east on I-70 and last visual was near Marshall. The events took place in the eastern sky at what appeared to be a high elevation and quite far off in the distance. I watched the sky until clouds covered near Columbia. I first noticed a bright pinpoint glow that seemed to appear from nowhere. Initially I thought it might be a plane turning towards me with landing lights but there was no indication of a beam turning from me at any point. Within seconds the single light was being wrapped by two other lights that were dimmer but with the same nature. They appeared to be rotating around the first light at a rapid speed following the each other in trajectory. Then without notice all three lights faded to dark. To explain the distance between the lights I would say they were several hundred feet apart as they spun. The same lights appeared a total of five times during the time period mentioned above. Each time the pattern was different from the previous sighting but similar in the spinning motion. At one point it appeared as off all three lights were rotating around a common axis with two lights mirroring each other in the rotation and the third 180 degrees from them following the path around the axis. Prior to this experience I would say I was skeptical at best about UFO’s, but having seen these lights with my own eyes has convinced me there is something happening in the skies we cannot explain just yet. Every time I saw the lights I was overcome with chills and it brought tears to my eyes. It was an emotional experience to say the least. View Report

I was in a plane flying from Vegas to Indianapolis (via spirit airlines). I was trying to nap when the plane seemed to slow down suddenly so I opened my eyes and a few moments later I saw something out of the corner of my eye out the window. I had to turn my body to look back at the object that had flown past us. It looked like a metal sphere going at high speeds before it disappeared into the clouds. I looked up the flight logs and the plane was consistently flying at 36,975-37,025ft the whole trip until this moment it dropped to 35,950ft. It was at 18:03pm (Vegas time). View Report

I seen 3 red orngish lights in a vertical pattern and they were glowing not flashing. It was for about 20 to 30 seconds that it was gliding in a indescribable pattern until it just disappeared. I took video on my phone but it's no where near the quality from what I seen in real event than compared to my video View Report

Around 9:00 pm on Nov 1st 2022. I walked out on our side deck. A very strange circle above my tree line was stationary. Then there were more bright circles moving in the sky. I witnessed up to five at one point. I ran in and asked my wife to come look at these. We couldn't believe our eyes. I stated taking videos with my iphone. If you stop the video and zoom in. It looks like a large orb filled with energy. We were speechless and shaken up. The stationary orb was there until about 4:15 am. I have seen starlink before. This was not starlink!!! View Report

I’m not positive on the date it was hot and it was 2021 I told my GM the next day but I was heading home during the day and I stopped at the end of the street heading to the Heart of America high way bridge and I looked up above the tree line and you could clearly see a triangle of lights. You couldn’t see anything but a circle where a light was but nothing else just the three lights that made a triangle. I was going to take a picture and a car came up an layed on its horn so I just moved on but I could kick myself for not going ahead and taking the picture. This is the second time I have seen a ufo around 20 years or so in our neighborhood my two sons and myself (it was in 1991 summer July or early August) we was going to the store around 9:30-10:00pm and at the end of our hill behind our neighbors house we stopped got out and stared at it it was huge the lights was as big as the house they was colored lights not white. We watched for like 2 mins then it was suddenly gone, we got back in the car an went on like nothing happened, I don’t know why I did look to see the next day if it was on the news or something but it wasn’t. I never even said anything to my husband and neither did my boys we never talked about it again till around 2015 or so don’t know why about that either my youngest son didn’t really remember it but my oldest son did. I was riding with my mother and brother back from ball practice. We were heading north through a tiny town called Louisburg, MO. In the west end of town there is a cell phone tower, above the tower I saw 4 diamond shaped lights. They were stacked with three on the bottom one on top. The three lower lights faded off and only the tip one remained for a second longer until it too shut off. I immediately shouted out "I just saw a UFO"! To which my mother and brother gave me their uninterested "oh really huhs"? My mother dropped me off at my car that I had parked in town so we could continue the drive home. 10 minutes go by and we are driving through the countryside, I was leading the way home and my mother and brother were behind me. Once again the light came on but this time much lower and lower to the ground to where the size of what ever I saw was much much larger. Again the three lights faded and only one remained until it went out too. I picked up my phone, (I know I was driving but I mean come on) and called my boy friend at the time absolutely freaked out. Down the road the lights came on again. I hung up with my boyfriend and took a picture, but only of the one light that stayed on the longest. I was still driving north, so my picture isn't the moon or a star or a lamp from some ones yard as i was driving in the middle of no where. You can see it above the tree line. After I took the picture my brother called me yelling "MOM AND I SAW IT TOO! IT CAME ON OVER THE FEILD BESIDE US THEN SUDDENLY IT WAS INFRONT OF YOU!" To which I replied a few I told you so and I'm not crazy. As it passed in front of my I could tell it seemed like the lights on bottom were sorta rotating, in the classic UFO shape. I was driving 60 mph. So to see it a mile or so down the road a few seconds later I can't even guess how fast it was moving. My father is a very old fashioned man. Doesn't believe in anything other than the Christian faith. Discredit all three of us and made joked about it. We didn't expect him to believe it or even tried to convince him. He told us that his friend frequently sees the lights along the same road, to which my father also teased him about having lighting bugs on his windshield. I'm not sure on what date the next sighting happened but I remember feeling very smug about it. The person in my family who saw it next was my father. He was visiting my grandmother one evening. When four lights in the sky appeared over her house. He could describe in detail exactly the same thing the three of us could tell. He said he believe the three lights were like some sort of boosters that when the faded were doing just that. Boosting the craft in whatever direction. The lights were there and then gone. What I found to be the most scary about the whole experience was when I first saw the lights in town I was the only one in the car to see it. I pointed it out. Then for it to almost seem like it followed me. Followed me pretty close to home. Why did it come on in front of my car? Was it because I saw it? It was like an out of body experience. Like I was watching a movie. Like what I'm seeing shouldn't be happening. The closest military base is Fort Leonard Wood. If it was something front there why come over here. Something strange went on in Hickory County in the summer of 2916. View Report
